    selling my car

    i don't use it and i don't want it.

    it's a 2000 peugeot 206 XT. 1.6 L

it has mags and some fancy-arse fuel-cap.

it has a DJ catch tape in the tape player and a xasthur CD stuck in the CD player.

it has a spoiler at the back and once that baby hits 88 miles per hour you're gonna see some serious shit.

    it needs CV joints replaced.

it's in ok condition, paint is a little sun-scorched but aside from the above it's mechanically sound.

it's unregistered and won't have a road-worthy certificate or any of that shit.

i want something like $700 for it. which is probably a hell of a lot less than it's worth.

brendan can attest to it's ability to do a sweet burn-out in gravel next to pizza bar on maribyrnong road.

you're gonna have to pick it up from northcote, melbourne.

It only took 11 years to depreciate from what, $16,000 to $700?

That's no criticism though. If anything I think that makes the car MORE desirable.

I'm guessing that's probably easier for you to do though.

It's Dylan Time! <--- sometimes NSFW. Seriously. It's getting nicer, but there's still loads of nudity.

Holla at me if you want me to re-post this as a WTS ad on Aussie Frogs. You shouldn't have trouble selling it.

I'd buy it just to show graph appreciation but I don't need a car.

    No probs ... just holla

If anyone here is interested in buying McKenny's car this place is a good place for the parts needed (CV).
Europarts - spare parts division of Peugeoplus - Peugeot service, repairs and parts

My sister had one of these but in a Cabrio version (no, she's not a hairdresser) and it had the GTi spec suspension. Replaced the control arms and used the people above who were very helpful. Can save you a bundle compared to getting a dealer to do the work.

They're good cars. It's a bargain for someone here if they can get it back to roadworthy.

//// top secret video of McKenny fixing his Peugeot !!!

Is it a manual or automatic?
EDIT: also, does it still have rego on it, or has it lapsed? I know you said it doesn't come with rego, but I wasn't sure if you were cashing it in when you sold it.

Ha! I agree!!! I poured around $8k into a 306 s16 which I owned for 2 years trying to replace all the worn parts or generally stopping it from breaking down. Sold it for $6k with no heater, busted window motor and generally running like a piece of shit. French cars run like they're on rails but sure can bleed a wallet dry! In saying that it was a pretty rad car and much more fun than my family wagon!
