well, my trip has finally come to an end. I'm currently in Christchurch then I'll head to brisbane to play in the polo champs on the 17th.
rode over ~7800km all up over a period of 110 days. Its truly been an experience of a lifetime, thanks to everyone who's followed my trip and given me some kind words of encouragement.

I've got some smaller trips planned over the summer, I think i've been bitten by the travel bug. Feel free to pm me about my trip, I'm always keen to share some advice about my gear and equipment, I'd recommend bike touring to anyone! A truly awesome way to see a country.

Well done Prawza, I can't believe it's been 110 days already, it seems like yesterday you started your ride!

Well, not really. I was in Nelson during the Earthquake ~300km away from ChCh, apparently it was felt where I was but I slept through it like a baby. But, because of the earthquake I delayed my arrival into Christchurch to wait till things were a little more settled. Some say that the media have made it look far worse than it is, BUT after riding into ChCh there are some areas that look like battle zones and its a miracle no one was killed during the incident.

Yesterday I volunteered for the clean up effort and spent 8 hours digging out silt from peoples backyards, its pretty crazy, there are fault lines everywhere and some houses are split in half. Personally however the earthquake has given me no dramas, I feel aftershocks everymorning but yeah.. i just hope the airport stays open when I leave :P
