    Did anyone watch Lombardy?

    Giro '13 course looking suitably intriguing. Those last couple of mountain stages, jesus.

    Rumors abound that the Tour will be going up Alpe D'Huez twice in the same stage too.

    saw a fair few photos from lombardie, looked pretty hectic. purito cemented the #1 rider (in points) with some smart riding. gilbert looked to have gone down pretty hard (and seemed to make the right decision with black knicks).

    ASO had made reference to next years tour being 'one for the climbers' already... i guess the feedback from this year (and the recent success of the vuelta and giro and their nutty climbs) has them making some sweeping changes.

    its almost hilarious how much of a fail this year is turning into for the UCI. i liked the question i saw yesterday about why argo-simano etc were asked not to attend due to their japanese sponsors yet Garmin-sharp and RSNT were not advised to do the same.
