The UCI have given Katusha Pro Continental status.
The UCI announces that Katusha (RUS) has been registered as a UCI Professional Continental Team for the 2013 season.
Following the UCI Licences Commission decision on 10 December 2012 to refuse Katusha’s registration as UCI ProTour (first division), the team introduced anti-doping measures that have prompted the UCI to grant it registration as UCI Professional Continental Team (second division).
I wonder how stringently they'll enforce these 'measures'.

20 year old Damien Howson from Team Uni-SA has attacked early in today's stage, and taken another guy by the name of Philippe Gilbert with him.

I love it when the young UniSA guys get in the breakaway. Dudes just riding their hearts out. Even better when there's some sweet rainbows for company.
Reminds me of when Thomas DeGhent was talking about a break he got in at Paris Nice a few years ago with his hero Jens Voigt.
He also ended up beating him in the sprint for the stage win.
