    A bit of both, transferred most of the parts over from my old Surly 1x1 and it has all come together well. I bought the forks about a year ago, finally built up the wheels this year, and then this came up and it was just right.

    Built some Stans Arch MK3 rims on to the hubs a few months ago much better for the 2.2/2.4" tyres, put on 1x11 XT/SLX this week. Took it on an overnighter. Lovin' it.

    Looks good. Reckon this has enough overlap with the Drakkar that you would sell it and just have the soma for the smoother stuff?

    Mmm, na, the drakkar is still heaps better for longer rides, steeper angles etc make it a bit faster on the smoother stuff but the cotic is great for ride with some proper single track. Horses for Courses.
